The first lap is 0.5 miles in length.  It begins with a 0.1 mile offset from the start line to the SCOTT inflatable arch, proceeded by a small 0.4 mile loop back to the arch.

From there you will then complete 20 identical full laps, each of 1.29 miles in length. You will finish at the SCOTT archway.

Once you have run all 21 laps you will then have completed 26.2 miles (42.195 km) and be a Kent Coyote Marathon finisher!

Cyclopark is a multi-million-pound sporting facility in North West Kent, opened in 2012. The venue contains a racing surface created with several kilometres of freshly-laid smooth tarmac.

The 2016 marathon consists of one initial lap of 0.5mi followed by twenty full laps of the 1.285 mile circuit.   The course will be run counter-clockwise - i.e. the opposite direction to our Kent Roadrunner Marathon. The 2016 course has been officially measured to ensure complete accuracy, course number 16/142. Click here for the Certificate of Course Accuracy.

The Kent Coyote Marathon is proud to carry a British Association of Road Races race grading, reflecting our adherence to the highest standards of race organisation.   We anticipate our new Coyote Marathon will achieve the same GOLD standard as our existing Kent Roadrunner Marathon.

Our all-tarmac course qualifies as a ROAD marathon for UKA, Power of 10, and 100 Marathon Club purposes as well as for London and Boston Marathon qualification.

The 2016 Kent Coyote Marathon uses a 1.29 mile lapped circuit. Our marathon runners will have exclusive use of the entire tarmac track for the day, with access to the onsite showers, toilets, changing rooms, café, etc.

The other sporting facilities (skate park, BMX track, etc) will be off-limits to marathon runners. Supporters must avoid these areas as they may be in use by other groups during our event. The mountain bike track (which is adjacent to the marathon tarmac circuit) will be available for pedestrian spectators. Under no circumstances may any marathon supporter ride a bicycle on the tarmac or mountain bike circuit during the marathon.
