SCOTT Sports and the Kent Roadrunner Marathon

We are delighted to announce SCOTT Sports as race partner for the 2013 Kent Roadrunner Marathon.

SCOTT dates back to 1958, when Ed Scott revolutionized skiing by inventing the first aluminium ski pole. Since then, SCOTT has continued to deliver innovative products the market.

In 1986, the Company opened the world's most sophisticated ski pole factory in Italy and became the global leader in ski pole production. That same year, it introduced its first mountain bike.

In 2006 SCOTT presented its first Running Shoe Collection to the public.

SCOTT's running shoes are based on their innovative eRide technology. eRide is a footwear technology present in all SCOTT running and outdoor shoes. Its specific sole construction addresses all foot strike patterns, guarantees a smoother ride throughout footground contact, and is more energy efficient during racing, trail running and hiking.

We'll have a display of SCOTT's running shoe technology, together with a SCOTT representative at the Kent Roadrunner Marathon. Please take a moment before the race to peruse the SCOTT display in the Race HQ. Take a look at their catalogue of (very pretty!) running shoes, and please come armed with some questions!

Thank you to SCOTT Sports for providing winners' prizes at the 2013 Kent Roadrunner Marathon.
